I strive to paint the "sense" of a place rather than the details and am continually inspired by the textures, colours and rustic beauty of the Canadian prairies.

My art is an act of appreciation for the land and the places that make me feel at home. I hope it inspires similar moments of connection for others as they recall places that are sacred and "home" for them.
