I create art to honor the sense of a place rather than the details, drawing inspiration from the fields, riverbanks, lakes, and rocks of the Canadian prairies. Using a variety of mediums I create simple, organic art, and often collect & add natural elements to my paintings, blending little bits of the landscape right into the work itself. My art is a quiet act of gratitude for the land and places that ground us.

I work slowly and intentionally, building several ongoing collections in oil and cold wax, as well as cyanotype prints.
