Collection: cyanotype prints

A quiet collaboration with sunlight and place.

A cyanotype is a picture born from sunlight. This historical photography process involves brushing paper with iron salts, layering with botanicals or objects, and then exposing it to sunlight resulting in a deep prussian blue imprint.

My Process

My cyanotypes are a contemporary take on a historic process. By shifting the chemistry and altering ink tones, my prints move beyond traditional bright prussian blue into earthy indigos and other organic hues. I also hand-embellish prints using genuine 18 carot white gold leaf and metallic inks.

Additional hand-applied genuine 18 carat white gold leaf & metallic gold ink accents available. Each minimalistic, subtle accent is uniquely placed, making the work entirely one-of-a-kind.
