This fine art print is a reproduction of my original cyanotype. Each signed print includes a creamy white acid-free mat, ready to pop into any standard 8 x 10 frame. (Please note frame is NOT included).
The process of making cyanotype prints is unpredictable as each piece reacts differently with the sun. As such, these prints are “perfectly-imperfect” and may include areas of soft blurring or uneven texture intrinsic to the natural print process - honouring the beauty found in imperfection.
In honor of these natural variations, each print is hand-finished with a small accent of 18 carat gold leaf, inspired by the Japanese art of Kintsugi, where broken pottery is mended with gold to celebrate the beauty of imperfection. Also available without gold leaf accent.
